Happy dogs means happy owners!
Home from home boarding for your dog
Welcome to
Digs4D GS
Are you looking for a safe, fun place for your dog to relax and chill in the comfort of a home rather than in kennels? Be given lots of hugs, kisses and interactive play during their stay? Then why not consider Digs4DOGS.
As dog owners ourselves, we only know too well the importance of finding the right place to look after your dog whilst you go away. Somewhere that will walk your dog, love your dog and look after them just as you would yourself.
Digs4DOGS is a home boarding service run by myself, Dawn and husband Graeme, within our family home. We are kennel free, meaning your dog will move in and be surrounded by a loving family and treated as one of our own pets. We have been inspected by East Staffordshire Council and currently have a 3 star rated licence (ABR0046) having adhered to the strict guidelines in place for providing a home dog boarding business.
Your dog will get walked by either of us, at least two or three times a day (generally an hour each time) or as appropriate dependent on age and health. We love to take dogs off lead if allowed, providing their recall is good and permission is provided.
Additional to home dog boarding, we offer a dog walking service locally. Off or on lead to suit individual requirements.
Peace of mind knowing that your dog is happy and settled while you are away.
Your dog will need to be well behaved, well socialised and friendly towards both our own resident and boarding dogs.
We only accept dogs over the age of one.
We do not encourage dogs upstairs in the bedrooms. Therefore, they need to be able to settle quietly on their own downstairs at night time.
A compulsory "meet & greet" will be booked initially to assess the suitability of your dog for home boarding. You will be invited to bring your dog to our home, go for a walk to see the interaction with our own dogs and take a look around. If this goes well, a practice 24 hours stay including overnight will then be arranged. Further drop off practices may be required for more nervous or anxious dogs.
